Management is to ensure that the organisation reaches its goals.
Management development both deals with achieving managerial competences
within modern management and leadership and getting insight in personal
strengths, development areas, tripwires and blind spots.
How does the
individual manager find his or her own style as a manager so that it
matches both the expectations of the organisation and of the employees –
and in such a way that it corresponds with the manager’s personality?

competencies such as ”The manager as coach”, ”The manager as
conflict solver”, ”The manager as change agent”, ”The manager as
chairman” and ”The manager as staff developer”.
Examples of tasks:

2½ days’ training of managers
from Central Denmark Region in management-based coaching.

11 days’ training of managers
from Lån & Spar Bank in a number of disciplines related to human
management: Coaching, motivation, conflict handling, management of
groups and practical leadership.

20 days’ management development
course for 40 managers within childcare in the Municipality of
Hedensted. The task was solved in cooperation with VIA University
College Aarhus and was financed with public money reserved for
education. Change management, change processes and change psychology
were the areas in focus.
